Join the fun and support our public schools by sponsoring NEF’s 2023-2024 community events!

Every year, NEF gives away over $100,000 through our four grant programs to support innovative educational programs in our schools. This past academic year:

  • Small Grants to Educators funded programs in all district schools, featuring projects in performing and visual arts, writing, science, math, engineering, and anti-racism education. Goldstein Fund for the Arts offered music workshops and a schoolwide concert at Northampton High School.
  • Endowment Fund enabled a wide range of programs, including physical education with fully accessible bicycles for disabled students at JFK and NHS, a high school program on plant science and food justice, teacher education via the Hitchcock Center on using the outdoors for elementary education, and professional development for pre-K instructors.
  • NEF Book Fund purchased books and other library materials for every school in the district.

Your help makes our FUNdraising events a success!

Our annual Spelling Bee, Trivia Bee, Plant Sale, and Grant Showcase are local institutions that bring in hundreds of attendees and attract media attention.

  • Name and logo featured in all press releases, publicity materials, and signage
  • Ad on back cover of Spelling Bee program

  • Full page ad in Spelling Bee program
